Artificial neural network: Model of a neuron, Learning rules, Activation functions, Single layer perceptron networks, Multilayer feed forward networks, Back-propagation algorithm. Solving optimization problems, Concept of Genetic algorithm -Fitness function, Genetic operators: selection, crossover, mutation. Swarm optimization techniques: Particle swarm optimization and Global swarm optimization.
